Ethel Katherine Hottman
GROVE, OKLA. ? Services for Ethel Katherine Hottman, 95, Eudora, Kan., will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at First Baptist Church, Grove. Burial will follow in Olympus Cemetery, Grove.
Mrs. Hottman died Wednesday, Aug. 25, 2004, at Eudora Nursing Center.
She was born Feb. 8, 1909, in Camden Point, Mo., the daughter of E.O. and Lenora Wilson. She attended Kansas City Junior College.
Mrs. Hottman retired from Grove Post Office in 1977. She moved in 1998 to Olathe, Kan., and in June 1999 entered Eudora Nursing Center.
She was a member of First Baptist Church in Grove and had attended Sharon Baptist Church in Olathe. She was also a member of American Legion Auxiliary and National Association of Retired Federal Employees.
She married Roy Hottman on July 9, 1928, in Kansas City. He died earlier.
A daughter, Shirley Ann Standley, also died earlier.
Survivors include a son, Lowell Hottman, Lawrence, Kan.; a brother, Mack Wilson, Gower, Mo.; friend Ruby Dalrymple; five grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at Ellis Family Funeral Home, Grove.
