KU adds Cajuns to slate

Kansas University has filled the final date on its men’s basketball schedule with the University of Louisiana-Lafayette.

The Jayhawks and Ragin’ Cajuns will tangle Dec. 11 at Allen Fieldhouse.

UL-Lafayette finished the 2003-04 season 20-9 overall and 12-3 in the Sun Belt Conference. After winning the league tournament and earning an automatic bid in the NCAA Tournament, the Ragin’ Cajuns’ season ended with a 61-52 loss to No. 3 seed North Carolina State in the first round.

The Cajuns are led by first-year head coach Robert Lee, who was hired Aug. 17.
