Graveside services for Ruth Mae Oatney, 83, Eudora, will be at 11 a.m. Monday in Oak Hill Cemetery, Lawrence.
Mrs. Oatney died Friday, Aug. 20, 2004, at Eudora Nursing Center.
She was born Jan. 21, 1921, in Marshall County, the daughter of Truman Leroy and Christina Mae Vanamburgh Cobb.
Mrs. Oatney worked on a dairy farm with her parents and delivered milk for them. She had a cafe in Winifred and was a homemaker. She and her husband owned a mobile home park and rented out houses in Lawrence.
She married Thomas L. Oatney on June 28, 1949, in Marysville. He died Oct. 10, 2001.
Survivors include a daughter, Beverly Jensen, Lawrence; three grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Friends may call from noon to 9 p.m. today and from 9 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. Monday at Rumsey-Yost Funeral Home, where the family will receive them from 10 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. Monday. A procession to the cemetery will follow.
