Kansas University will have its Fan Appreciation Night on Aug. 25 at Memorial Stadium. Gates will open at 5:30 p.m., and fans can watch the conclusion of the football team’s practice before coach Mark Mangino addresses the crowd and introduces team captains. After the presentation, fans will have the opportunity to take photos and get autographs from players and coaches.

The first 1,000 fans will receive T-shirts and schedule cups. Other promotional items include football posters, schedule cards and key chains.

Parking is free in all lots adjacent to Memorial Stadium after 5 p.m. Fans will be asked to enter the stadium on the west side.
