William L. Sanders

Ridgecrest, Calif. ? A memorial service and burial at sea are planned for William L. Sanders, 67, Ridgecrest, Calif.

Mr. Sanders died Friday, July 30, 2004, at Ridgecrest Regional Hospital.

He was born Feb. 24, 1937, in Kansas City, Kan., the son of James A. Sr. and Alberta Fulton Sanders. He was raised and educated in Kansas City, Kan.

Mr. Sanders retired from the U.S. Navy in 1988 after serving more than 30 years.

Survivors include two sisters, Clarice L. Conner, Victorville, Calif., and Marian M. Brown, Lawrence; and a brother, Hiram, Grady, Ark.
