Marina functions on tap at Perry, Clinton lakes

Clinton Lake and Perry Lake plan a variety of events next weekend in conjunction with National Marina Day.

A week from today, Lake Perry Yacht and Marina will have safety booths, ice cream, boating safety inspections and more. Clinton Marina will recognize National Marina day next Saturday. For information, call 749-3222.

Lovewell Reservoir near Webber will also participate next Saturday.

Wilson Lake lands walleye tournament

The first Great Plains Championship of Walleye Fishing is scheduled next weekend at Wilson Lake.

The championship will feature the top teams on the Great Plains Region of the Gander Mountain Grand National Walleye Cup competition.

At stake will be a guaranteed $2,000 for first place plus trophies, and with bonus opportunities the winners could take home up to $2,500.
