Annabel Seyler

Ottawa — Graveside services for Annabel Seyler, 91, Ottawa, will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Wellsville Cemetery.

Mrs. Seyler died Tuesday, Aug. 3, 2004, at Village Manor Nursing Home.

She was born Feb. 18, 1913, in Ottawa, the daughter of Frank R. and Jennie Belle Hunt Sholtz.

Mrs. Seyler was a lifelong resident of Douglas and Franklin counties. She graduated from high school in 1932 and from Ottawa Business College in 1942. She worked for Parmelee Products in Gardner until her retirement in 1977. She earlier worked with her husband in their business, Seyler Machinery Co., for 13 years, until his death. She also worked in electronics for King Radio. She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church of Ottawa and the Priscilla Circle of the United Methodist Women.

She married Karl K. Seyler on April 2, 1943, in Lawrence. He died Oct. 14, 1956.

Survivors include a sister, Edna Brouhard, Ottawa.

A son, Robert Seyler, died earlier.

Friends may call from 2 p.m. to 9 p.m. Friday and from 8 a.m. until service hour at Dengel & Son Mortuary.

The family suggests memorials to the donor’s choice, sent in care of the mortuary, 235 S. Hickory St., Ottawa 66067.
