Walter K. Fountain

ELDON, MO. ? Services for Walter K. Fountain, 76, Eldon, will be at 2 p.m. today at First Assembly of God Church in Eldon. Burial will be in Eldon City Cemetery.

Mr. Fountain died Saturday, July 31, 2004, in Lake Ozark.

He was born May 30, 1928, in Knox County, the son of Serrel and Florence Beard Fountain.

Mr. Fountain was a lifelong farmer in northeast Missouri until moving to Eldon to become a developer.

He married Eva Helen Burkhart on Feb. 17, 1950. She survives, of the home.

Other survivors include a son, Roger, Eldon; a daughter, Cheryl Fountain, Okeechobee, Fla.; four sisters, Margaret Anderson, Grain Valley, Ezylene Snell, Canton, Pat Black, Eudora, Kan., and JoAnn Arment, Holt; four grandchildren; and one great-grandson.

One grandson died earlier.

The family suggests memorials to the Alzheimer’s Assn., sent in care of Phillips Funeral Home, P.O. Box 5, Eldon, Mo. 65026.
