Jess Gamble

Oskaloosa ? Services for Jess Gamble, 82, Oskaloosa, will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Barnett Funeral Home in Oskaloosa. Burial will follow at the Pleasant View Cemetery in Oskaloosa.

Mr. Gamble died Sunday, August 1, 2004, at Hickory Pointe Nursing Home.

He was born May 12, 1922, in Springdale, the son of Ed and Sadie May Chase Gamble.

Mr. Gamble retired from farming and pig raising after many years. He also worked for the Jefferson County Road Department.

Survivors include a brother, Louis Gamble, Oskaloosa; and a sister, Emma Hayes, Englewood, Colo.

Friends may call from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
