Two Outdoor Kansas for Kids events administered by Lawrence-based Kansas Wildscape Foundation are on tap Saturday.

At Mary’s Lake, a free fishing derby will run from 8 a.m. to noon. Participating youths will receive a free lunch compliments of Hy-Vee and a T-shirt from Bass Pro Shops.

At Clinton State Park, OKKids will conduct an archery demonstration from 9:30 a.m. to noon and a program on snakes from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Participants will receive free T-shirts from Bass Pro Shops.
