Today’s “Kansas Clubs for Kids” event at Twin Oaks Golf Complex near Eudora is a go.

“It’s on rain or shine,” director Jeff Burey said Friday.

However, recent rain may limit the parking areas. If so, parking will be available at Eudora Middle School and at the old Farmland plant west of Lawrence, with shuttle transportation provided.

The event will begin at 11 a.m. with an hour-long clinic by touring pro Matt Gogel and Royals Hall of Famer George Brett.

Afterward, free golf clubs will be presented to all youths ages 6 to 15 who participate.
