Ella Porter
Ottawa ? Family of Ella Porter, 78, Ottawa, will receive friends from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday at Dengel & Son Mortuary in Ottawa. Private burial will be in Princeton Cemetery.
Mrs. Porter died Wednesday, April 21, 2004, at Life Care Center of Osawatomie.
She was born Dec. 12, 1925, in Quenemo, the daughter of Clarence and Ella Cook Greenfield. She attended schools in Quenemo.
Mrs. Porter was a homemaker.
She married Clevy C. Porter on Dec. 9, 1942, in Garnett. He survives of Osawatomie.
Other survivors include a daughter, E. Charlene Porter Oyler, Topeka; two sons, Cecil Porter Sr., Ottawa, and Robert Porter, Hagerstown, Md.; a sister, Ava Watts, Topeka; and several grandchildren.
A son, Delmer D. Porter, died earlier.
The family suggests memorials to the Alzheimer’s Assn., sent in care of the mortuary, 235 S. Hickory, Ottawa 66067.
