Jesse J. Wilson

Oskaloosa ? Services for Jesse J. Wilson, 96, Moundridge, will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Barnett Funeral Home in Oskaloosa. Burial will be in Oskaloosa Cemetery.

Mr. Wilson died Wednesday, April 21, 2004, at Mercy Hospital in Moundridge.

He was born Feb. 29, 1908, in Kansas City, Kan., the son of William and Alice Young Wilson. He graduated from Cleveland Chiropractic College in 1954. He moved to Newton in 1995 and to Memorial Home in Moundridge in February 2003.

Mr. Wilson was a barber before beginning a chiropractic practice in Kansas City. He moved the practice to Oskaloosa in 1966. He was probate judge of Jefferson County from 1970 to 1975 and historian to the Kansas House of Representatives from April 1979 to June 1990. He retired in 1995.

He married Corda Nevils on Aug. 30, 1930, in McCook, Neb. She died Feb. 22, 1996.

Survivors include a son, Roger N., Newton; three granddaughters; and three great-grandchildren.
