Floyd P. Lombard

Graveside services for Floyd P. Lombard, 89, Lawrence, will be at 2:30 p.m. Monday at St. Peters Catholic Cemetery in Big Springs.

Mr. Lombard died Wednesday, April 21, 2004, at Lawrence Memorial Hospital.

He was born Jan. 15, 1915, in Jefferson County, the son of William Shrines and Catherine Phyllis Kleminzewski Lombard.

Mr. Lombard worked for Santa Fe Railway in Topeka for 25 years. He and his wife operated the Salad Dressing Family Business in Elmont for several years.

He married Edna Anderson in 1940. She died in 1995.

Survivors include his sister, Bertha K. Beguelin, Lawrence.

Family will receive friends from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. Monday at Warren-McElwain Mortuary.

The family suggests memorials to the American Heart Assn. or the charity of the donor’s choice, sent in care of the mortuary.
