Missouri prep Hansbrough might make visit to KU

Tyler Hansbrough, a 6-foot-11 high school junior from Poplar Bluff (Mo.) High, met with Kansas University coach Bill Self and interim assistant Danny Manning on Wednesday and indicated he might make a campus visit to KU.

Hansbrough, who has visited Florida, North Carolina, Missouri and Kentucky, will make KU or Duke his final visit.

“Kansas definitely increased its chances of getting a visit from me,” Hansbrough told Shay Wildeboor of rivals.com.

C.J. Giles, a 6-11 prep senior from Seattle, told a Seattle radio station he was “99 percent sure” he wanted to attend Washington if he could get released from his Miami letter of intent. He also has KU on his list.

Malik Hairston, 6-5 from Detroit, will visit Oregon this weekend and Oklahoma the following weekend, then pick between those schools and KU, UCLA and Ohio State.
