Chicago Board of Trade

Soybean futures sank lower Tuesday on the Chicago Board of Trade, while grains finished mixed. Wheat for May delivery rose 3 cents to $3.97 a bushel; May corn fell 2 cents to $3.09 1/4 a bushel; May oats rose 1/4 cent to $1.63 1/4 a bushel; May soybeans fell 16 1/4 cents to $9.52 3/4 a bushel.

Beef futures increased while pork futures settled mixed on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange. June live cattle rose 1.70 cent to 77.92 cents a pound; May feeder cattle rose 1.30 cent to 92.72 cents a pound; May lean hogs fell .25 cent to 68.65 cents a pound.
