Six Lawrence residents were among more than 20,000 runners who completed the Boston Marathon on Monday.
The top local male finisher was Kansas University student Leo Hansen, who finished in a time of 3:13:07. Hansen, 23, was 764th overall and 514th in his division, which included 4,811 men ages 18-39.
Jennifer West was the top local female finisher. She crossed the finish line in 3:28:00, good for 2,125th overall and 191st among women. West, 28, was 145th in her age division, which included 4,585 women ages 18-39.
Other local runners were:
- Tim Lang, 24, finished in 3:17:13. He was 1,000th overall and 659th in his age division.
- Erin Leary, 21, finished in 4:01:17. She was 7,529th overall and 1,473rd in her age division.
- Renee Stains, 30, finished in 3:40:23. She was 3,442nd overall and 348th in her age division.
- Glen Stansberry, 21, finished in 3:44:38. He was 3,680th overall and 1,790th in his age division.
Two other Lawrence residents, Jenny Kreidler and Greg McMillan, entered the run, but their results were not listed.
