Dorothy Mildred Ehart

? Services for Dorothy Mildred Ehart, 92, Jarbalo, will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Jarbalo United Methodist Church. Burial will be in Fall Creek Cemetery, Jarbalo.

Miss Ehart died Thursday, April 15, 2004, at her niece’s home in De Soto.

She was born Nov. 11, 1911, in Lansing, the daughter of Henry and Laura Orlowski Ehart. She lived in the Mount Olivet and Springdale communities and attended Centennial School before moving to Jarbalo. She graduated from Jarbalo High School and Baker University.

Miss Ehart was a teacher in Leavenworth County schools. She received her teaching certificate in 1931 and retired in 1974. She was a 70-year member of Jarbalo United Methodist Church, where she was treasurer for 27 years and a Sunday school teacher. She was a member of the Kansas Ornithological Society and had been a member of Stranger Valley Grange No. 11 for more than 50 years. She was past president of United Methodist Women and Tonganoxie Garden Club.

Survivors include a brother, Henry Ehart Jr., rural McLouth.

Family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday at Quisenberry Funeral Home in Tonganoxie.
