Georgie Lou Larison

Mrs. Larison died Wednesday, March 31, 2004, at a Topeka hospital.

She was born Oct. 5, 1931, in Range, Okla., the daughter of Marlin and Molsie Lou Burton Hale. She graduated from Hardesty High School in Hardesty, Okla. She had lived in Oskaloosa for many years.

Mrs. Larison was a food service supervisor at Kansas University and co-owned and operated Larisons Grocery Store in Oskaloosa for 23 years.

She married George A. Larison on Dec. 11, 1954, in Hardesty. He survives, of the home.

Other survivors include two daughters, Debra Larison and Dena Larison, both of Oskaloosa; two sisters, Marlene Rider, Westminster, Texas, and Joanna Bowles, Perryton, Texas; three grandchildren and a great-granddaughter.

Family will receive friends from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at Barnett Funeral Home in Oskaloosa.
