A Lawrence Municipal Court hearing originally to have been held Monday for Kansas University running back John Randle was continued to Friday. Randle will return to court where he is supposed to be sentenced for attempted misdemeanor theft. A few weeks ago Randle pleaded no contest to the charge after it was reduced from theft. The charge stems from an incident in November involving some beer at a Lawrence convenience store.
