Soggy weather expected through early evening

If you’ve been dying to try out your new fall rain wear, this is the day for it.

“It’s going to be kind of a drippy day,” said Matt Sayers, 6News meteorologist.

Tuesday’s high will be 53, with a little more than a half-inch to an inch of rain by the end of the day, Sayers said

“The light rain and showers will fall through the early evening hours,” he said.

Clouds will be moving out of the area Tuesday night.

The temperature will drop to 37 by Wednesday morning, with moist conditions creating some fog, Sayers said.

We can expect a few clouds Wednesday afternoon, but otherwise we will see sunshine and warmer temperatures, Sayers said.

Wednesday’s high will reach 65, with winds, 5-12 mph.

Thursday morning’s low will be 39. The high Thursday will be 69, with clouds rolling in during the afternoon and evening hours.

“Friday morning, we have a slight chance for rain,” Sayers said. The morning low will be 45, with partly cloudy skies and a high of 74.

Saturday’s temperature will start out at 48, rising to 72 under partly cloudy skies. Sunday’s morning low will be 39, rising to a high of 69 under sunny skies.
