Alice H. Jensen

Graveside memorial services for Alice H. Jensen, 93, Lawrence, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in Warren County Memorial Park Cemetery in Monmouth, Ill.

Mrs. Jensen died Tuesday, Sept. 23, 2003, at Pioneer Ridge Retirement Community.

She was born Sept. 28, 1909, in Elmira, Ill., the daughter of William S. and June E. (Clarke) McDougall. She was raised in Tustin, Calif.

Mrs. Jensen graduated from Monmouth College in 1932 with a bachelor’s degree in modern languages. She was a member of Pi Beta Phi.

She married Russell M. Jensen on April 3, 1937, in Chariton, Iowa. He died in 2001.

Survivors include a son, Eric Jensen, New York City; two daughters, Laura Foust, Lawrence, and Christina Harris, Oklahoma City; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
