Haskell honoree

Haskell Indian Nations University’s Makyla Lone Wolf was named Midlands Collegiate Athletic Conference volleyball player of the week. Lone Wolf, a sophomore from Lincoln, Neb., recorded 23 kills and seven aces in the Indians’ 3-1 win over William Jewell.

Smith selected again

For the second time this season, Kansas University’s Caroline Smith has been named Big 12 Conference offensive soccer player of the week. Smith recorded the fifth hat trick in KU history and the second of her career in the Jayhawks’ win over Florida State.
