Gerard E. Little Sr.

Services for Gerard E. Little Sr., 77, Lawrence, will be in Kenai, Alaska. Burial will follow in Kenai Municipal Cemetery.

Mr. Little died Sunday, Sept. 7, 2003, at Lawrence Memorial Hospital.

He was born April 14, 1926, in Kansas City, Kan., the son of Sheon E. and Mabel (McFadden) Little. He was a former resident of Kenai.

Mr. Little served in the U.S. Navy in the South Pacific during World War II, and in the Korean War.

He was a startup engineer for oil refineries all over the world and retired in the mid-1980s from Atlantic Richfield Oil Co.

He married Norma Jean Gadberry in Kansas City, Kan. She died in December 2002.

Survivors include a daughter, Jenne M. Laurie, Kasilof, Alaska; four sons, Gerard E. Jr., Lawrence, Christopher G., Nikiski, Alaska, Kevin M., Lee’s Summit, Mo., and William D., Anchorage, Alaska; 17 grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.

The family suggests memorials to American Diabetes Assn., sent in care of Warren-McElwain Mortuary.
