Alvin and Angie Fishburn, seated in front, celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with their grandchildren. The Fishburns celebrated with a family dinner July 6 at their home in rural Lawrence. Their children and grandchildren played host to the special occasion. The couple were married Sept. 6, 1953, in Quinter.
