Doris Jeanne Foster

? Services for Doris Jeanne Foster, 73, Ottawa, will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Dengel & Son Mortuary in Ottawa. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery in Pomona.

Mrs. Foster died Wednesday, Oct. 29, 2003, at her home.

She was born Aug. 21, 1930, in Michigan Valley, the daughter of Newton Milton and Ida Ruth (Wilson) Ogle. She spent about a year in Denver in the mid-1940s, but lived the rest of her life in Franklin County.

Mrs. Foster was a homemaker. She was a member of Assembly of God Church in Ottawa.

She married Charles Delbert Foster on June 6, 1951, in Ottawa. He died Aug. 20, 1978.

Survivors include a son, Delbert Newton Foster, Ottawa; two daughters, Amanda Grace Lucas and Janice Louise Brown, both of Ottawa; a sister, Grace Martin, Ottawa; seven grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.

Friends may call after 10 a.m. today at the mortuary, where the family will receive them from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. today.

The family suggests memorials to Senior Center Inc. or Veterans of Foreign Wars Memorial Post 5901 Auxiliary, sent in care of the mortuary, 235 S. Hickory, Ottawa 66067.
