Chicago Board of Trade

Wheat and soybean futures jumped sharply higher Tuesday on the Chicago Board of Trade. Corn prices also increased modestly.

Wheat for December delivery rose 10 cents to $3.77 1/4 a bushel; December corn rose 5 cents to $2.40 1/4 a bushel; December oats rose 5 cents to $2.40 1/4 a bushel; December oats rose 3 cents to $1.47 1/2 a bushel; November soybeans rose 23 1/2 cents to $7.82 a bushel.
