Pumpkins were the story of the day Sunday for six children visiting Watkins Community Museum of History, 1042 Mass.
The children, all girls ranging from 3 to 5 years old, decorated miniature pumpkins under the direction of museum curator and registrar Alison Miller.
They got involved in other crafts about pumpkins and learned from Miller about how pumpkins grow.
“They were all very creative,” Miller said. “They all seemed to have a very good time.”
