Ottawa ? The Ottawa University football squad jumped to a 41-0 halftime lead before routing Friends, 55-0, Saturday. Junior running back Derrick Ward rushed for 189 yards and four touchdowns for the Braves (6-1). Sophomore DeDe Dorsey, senior Brandon Fischer, junior Joshua Short and junior Darren Wagoner each added touchdowns for Ottawa, which racked up 409 yards of total offense.

Ottawa travels Saturday to Hillsboro for a 1:30 p.m. game against Tabor College.
