ST. CHARLES, MO. ? Hoping for its third straight win, Baker University came up empty against a one-win team.

Jeremy Harmon threw two touchdown passes and scored on a two-yard run as Lindenwood beat Baker, 27-23, Saturday.

George Mumphard caught both touchdown passes for Lindenwood (2-6 overall, 2-6 Heart of America Athletic Conference), which led 7-3 at halftime. Sherwin Ellis added a 54-yard touchdown run.

John Reeves ran for two touchdowns and 91 yards and also ran back an interception 46 yards for a touchdown for Baker (3-4, 3-4).

Baker returns Saturday to Baldwin to battle Benedictine. Game time is 1:30 p.m. at Liston Stadium.
