11:25 — Davin Dennis 20 pass from Roberson. KU backup quarterback Brian Luke, on his only play of the game, mishandled a handoff, and Jermaine Berry recovered for KSU at the 20. Roberson found Dennis in the end zone on the next play. (KSU 14, KU 3)

KU’s defense stopped KSU, forcing the Wildcats to punt from their own 45, but KU was whistled for illegal participation, and the 15-yard penalty gave KSU a first down at the KU 40.
