Graveside inurnment for Betty Lou Corel, 78, Lawrence, will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday in Oak Hill Cemetery.
Ms. Corel died Tuesday, Oct. 21, 2003, at Pioneer Ridge Retirement Community.
She was born Oct. 31, 1924, in Lawrence, the daughter of Charles Wesley and Jetty (Meadows) Corel. She was a lifelong resident of Lawrence. She graduated from Liberty Memorial High School in 1941.
Ms. Corel was a telephone operator supervisor for Southwestern Bell Telephone before she retired in the 1970s. She was a member of Lawrence Friends Church.
Survivors include two brothers, Charles Corel, Baldwin, and Glenn Corel, Lawrence; and a sister, Bonnie Hurrellbrink, Beaver, Okla.
