6News video: KU begins fall break

Most Kansas University offices will remain open today and Friday despite the university’s fall break.

Students won’t be heading to classes during the two-day break, which began in 2001.

Some parts of the Kansas and Burge unions and some libraries will have altered hours during the break.

To view union hours, visit www.jayhawks.com/union/sheet002.htm, and to view library hours, visit www.lib.ku.edu.

The break initially was scheduled for last week, but was later changed because of conflicts scheduling the Homecoming football game.
