Melissa J. Antisdel

Mrs. Antisdel died Monday, Oct. 20, 2003, after a horse-riding accident.

She was born Sept. 30, 1956, in Marion, Iowa, the daughter of Bill and Audrey Thompson. She participated in gymnastics and cheerleading in high school.

Mrs. Antisdel was an equestrian and was named Master of Foxhounds in 2002 for the Moingona Hunt Club of Des Moines, of which she had been a member since 1991.

Survivors include her husband, Monte Antisdel, Adel; her parents, Marion; two stepdaughters, Megan Temme and Libby Antisdel, Des Moines; two brothers, Rick Thompson, Chicago, and Zach Thompson, Des Moines; a sister, Samantha Beachel, Marion; and a grandmother, Mrs. Roy Altenberg, Marion.

Family will receive friends from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.

The family suggests memorials to Iowa Land Conservancy, 3077 Meadow Lane, Adel, IA 50003.
