Ames, Iowa ? Kansas University’s swimming and diving squad placed sixth out of six teams at the Big 12 Conference relays Friday, earning 37 points.

The Jayhawks earned two third-place event finishes. The 200-yard medley relay team of Whitney Sondall, Hannah Bakke, Amy Gruber and Kim Bolin took third in 1:46.72, while the 100 free team of Bolin, Gruber, Jackie Krueger and Ashley Dower finished third in 44.96.

KU will travel today to Iowa City for a meet against Iowa and Northern Iowa at 2 p.m.
