Lois J. Corbin

? Services for Lois Jeanette (Wilson) Corbin, 78, Merriam, will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Countryside Christian Church in Mission.

Mrs. Corbin died Monday, Oct. 13, 2003, at her home.

She was born June 30, 1925, in Kansas City, Mo., the daughter of John and Christina Wilson.

Mrs. Corbin was the nursery supervisor at Countryside Christian Church. She was a retired press operator from Anderson Engraving Co. in Kansas City, Mo., and a member of the Kansas Old Time Fiddlers, Pickers and Singers.

Her husband, Virgil, died earlier.

Survivors include three daughters, Jackie Pounds, San Marcos, Texas, Suzy Jansen, Baldwin, and Lois “Snook” Kelley, Mission; four sons, Virgil Corbin, Hillsdale, Mickey Corbin, Overland Park, David Corbin, Shawnee, and Walter Corbin, Mission; four sisters, Christine Wright, Independence, Mo., Mary Boswell, Blue Springs, Mo., Betty Fetters, Parkville, Mo., and Wilma Hagan, Lee’s Summit, Mo.; 15 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at Amos Family Chapel of Shawnee.
