Hartford services

Services for Walter J. Hartford, 74, Lawrence, will be at noon Thursday at Clinton Parkway Assembly of God Church. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.

Mr. Hartford died Saturday, Oct. 4, 2003, at his home.

He married Priscilla M. Davidson on May 20, 1950. She survives of the home.

Other survivors include two sons, Randall J. and Mark H., both of Lawrence; three daughters, Doris M. Fullington, Orlando, Fla., Carolyn Harrell, Meriden, and Debra Ann Hurwitz, Montverde, Fla.; a brother, Billy Raymond, Grove, Okla.; four sisters, Esther Turner, Merced, Calif., Betty Reid, Kansas City, Kan., Anna Davidson, Lawrence, and Mamie Jane Stobaugh, Cedar Rapids, Iowa; 13 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

A celebration of life will be from 11 a.m. to noon Thursday at the church.

The family suggests memorials to Williamstown Assembly Building Fund or Hospice Care in Douglas County.

Mount Washington Forever Funeral Home in Independence, Mo., is in charge of arrangements.
