St. Joseph, Mo. (ap) — Quotations for Monday:

Estimated Receipts: 275. Compared to last week, a light test of slaughter steers and heifers sold 1.00-2.00 higher. Direct slaughter cattle prices have held at record levels for the past few weeks, however movement has decreased significantly. Last week’s feedlot market ranged from 90.00-95.00 with the highest prices paid in the Northern areas. Slaughter cows sold 1.00-2.00 higher. Slaughter bulls were not quite as active and traded mostly steady.

Slaughter Steers: Few Select to mostly Choice 2-4 1265-1370 lbs 86.00- 87.00. Slaughter Heifers: Pkg Select and Choice 2-3 1110 lbs 85.00.
