Dennis Bryant

Oskaloosa ? Services for Dennis “Dee” Bryant, 63, Winchester, will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Barnett Funeral Home in Oskaloosa. Burial will be in Plum Grove Cemetery, northeast of Oskaloosa.

Mr. Bryant died Saturday, Oct. 4, 2003, at his home.

He was born June 7, 1940, in Caldwell County, Mo., the son of Glenn H. and Genevieve L. Smith Bryant.

Mr. Bryant retired in 1996 after working 38 years for the Goodyear Tire Co. in Topeka.

He served on the board of directors for Jefferson County Fire District No. 10 in Winchester.

He married Thelma L. Kraus on July 8, 1960, in Tonganoxie. She survives of the home.

Other survivors include his mother, Oskaloosa; two sons, Dennis, Oskaloosa, and Tracy, Winchester; a daughter, Kyla Elliott, Nortonville; a sister, Karen S. Edmonds, Winchester; seven grandchildren and one great-grandson.

The family will receive friends from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. today at the funeral home. They suggest memorials to the fire district equipment fund, sent in care of the funeral home.
