Carolyn and Jason Goodwin

Carolyn Michelle Anderson and Jason Merle Goodwin, both of Lawrence, were married Aug. 17, 2003, at Liberty Hall in Lawrence with the Rev. Thad Holcombe officiating.

The bride is the daughter of Curt and Debbie Anderson, Lawrence. The groom is the son of Mike and Nancy Goodwin, Topeka.

Catherine Bandelier was matron of honor. The bride’s attendants were Kacey Link and Sarah Schirmer. Ashley Jones was flower girl.

Chris Goodwin was best man. Groomsmen were Jason Munro, Robb Page and Jesse Haller.

Readings were offered by Sarah Schirmer and Rachel Ernst, who also attended the guest book. Music for the ceremony was provided by a string quartet, composed of Elizabeth Kuefler, Emily Stewart, Carrie Eschmann and Jesse Henkensiefken, and trumpeter Scott Lefler.

The bride is a 1999 graduate of Free State High School and a 2003 graduate of Kansas University with a bachelor’s degree in philosophy and a minor in music.

The groom is a 1996 graduate of Shawnee Heights High School, Tecumseh, and a 2000 graduate of KU with a bachelor’s degree in environmental studies. He is a lead systems programmer with DST Systems Inc. in Kansas City.

The couple reside in Lawrence.

Lindsey and Garrett Cutler

Lindsey Gross and Garrett Cutler, both of Lawrence, were married Sept. 6, 2003, at Most Pure Heart of Mary in Topeka with the Rev. Francis Krische officiating.

The bride is the daughter of Bruce and Connie Burns, Topeka. The groom is the son of Steve and Debbie Cutler, Colwich.

Matron of honor was Courtny Tyler. Best man was John Stolz.

Bridesmaids were Gretchen Smith, Jen Burnett, Kim Haverkamp and Jenny Moore. Groomsmen were Travis Cutler, Josh Burnett, John Olsen and Jeff Burke.

Candle lighters were Heather Soderstrom and Zac Burns. Ushers were Zac Burns, Kerry Tubbs, Bryan Sullivan and Brian Hoover.

A reception followed at the Kansas Museum of History.

The bride is a graduate of Washburn Rural High School, Topeka, and Kansas University. She is a media planner for Barkley Evergreen and Partners in Kansas City, Mo.

The groom is a graduate of Andale High School and Kansas University. He is employed by Classic Eagle Distributing in Lawrence as a sales representative.

The couple reside in Eudora.
