Dennis Quaid, Sharon Stone and Stephen Dorff lend their less-than-stellar acting talents to this glorified B-thriller. A hokey plot as predictable as an Emmy for HBO puts this on my “Don’t buy out of the $.99 box” list. Dorff’s portrayal of a homesick psychopath leaves something to be desired, as do Quaid and Stone’s “marriage on the rocks.” However, I do expect to see this on the incompetent “Employee Favorite’s” wall at a certain large retail video rental store, which I see is still neglecting the greatness of Stanley Kubrick.
