Jordan Wright, John Armstrong and Travis Sutheimer, of Boy Scout Troop 59 chartered to First Presbyterian Church, passed their Eagle Board of Review on Nov. 20.

Wright’s Eagle project was the renovation and landscaping of an unused outdoor area at Quail Run School. It will serve as an outdoor teachers’ lounge. He is the son of Frank and Kim Wright.

Armstrong installed more than three dozen bluebird nesting houses and created a sitting area for bird-watchers at Clinton Lake for his Eagle project. His parents are Chris and Carol Armstrong.

Sutheimer built a bridge over a creek on a hiking trail at Perry Lake for his Eagle project. His parents are Kim Sutheimer and Dave Sutheimer.

Members sitting on the various boards were Keith Wood, Rich Bailey, Tripp Anderson, Ron Spangler, J.C. Gilroy, Erik Dickinson, Jill Adams, Jason Van Nice, Frank Wright and John Van Nice. Eight Scouts in Troop 59 have advanced to the rank of Eagle this year.
