M. Luceille Luetters
Ransom ? Services for M. Luceille Luetters, 87, Ransom, will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Aloysius Church, Ransom. Burial will be in Ransom Cemetery.
Mrs. Luetters died Wednesday, Nov. 26, 2003, at Grisell Memorial Hospital, Ransom.
She was born Feb. 19, 1916, in Windom, the daughter of Dennis and Anna Schreiber O’Neill.
Mrs. Luetters lived almost all of her life in Ransom. She worked as a postal clerk and taught at Lone Star Country School near Ransom.
She was a member of St. Aloysius Catholic Church, the Altar Society and a charter member of Ransom Junior Farmers. She also had been a 4-H leader.
She married Werner Luetters on June 10, 1940, in Ransom. He survives.
Other survivors include a son, Charles, Ransom; four daughters, Mary Ann Munsch, Lawrence, Susan Bellerive, Merriam, Diane Harton, Wichita, and Kathleen Clement, Leawood; a sister, RosaLea Kraus, Wichita; 13 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, James Luetters.
The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. today and 9 a.m. to service time Saturday at the church. A vigil service will be at 7 p.m. today at the church.
