Altha Jane Berry

? Services for Altha Jane Berry, 75, Sedalia, will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Heckart/Gillespie Colonial Chapel in Sedalia. Burial will be in Centerview Cemetery in Centerview.

Mrs. Berry died Monday, Nov. 24, 2003, at Rest Haven Convalescent and Retirement Home.

She was born Jan. 9, 1928, in Montserrat, the daughter of Thomas Harlan and Lillian Florence (Dove) Angel. She lived in Lawrence, Kan., for several years.

Mrs. Berry was a Baptist.

She married Glen H. Berry on Oct. 22, 1949, in Lexington. He died Sept. 3, 1980. A son, Larry K. Berry, and four grandchildren also died earlier.

Survivors include five daughters, Naomi L. Slade, Belton, and Wanda Reeves, Glenda Horn, Mary Sites and Virginia Barnes, all of Sedalia; three sons, Billy Joe Berry, Green Ridge, Michael Berry, Independence, Mo., and Terry Berry, Otterville; two stepsons, Glenn I. Berry, Blue Springs, and Wayne T. Berry, Adrian; a sister, Rosalie Meyer, Sedalia; 27 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.

Friends may call after 8 a.m. Friday at the funeral home, where the family will receive them from 10 a.m. until the service time.
