The Meadowlark 4-H Club met Nov. 11 at the Douglas County 4-H Fairgrounds. Taj Heckler, president, called the meeting to order. Members answered roll call by naming their favorite Thanksgiving food.

Will Pendleton discussed parliamentary procedure with the club. Tickets to the annual Bromelsick Christmas party were distributed.

The following members received pins for their accomplishments during the past year: Kyle Morgison, gold; Jamie Morgison, silver; and Shelby Miller and Derby Miller, achievement.

Members were given a presentation on the Citizenship Washington Trip. Club officers were installed.Members will work at a concession stand Dec. 5-6 at the Bull Blast event at the fairgrounds. Spencer Wilson and Bart Solbach were guests. Kyle Morgison gave a photography talk. The club made tray favors for the Meals on Wheels program.

The next meeting will be at 11 a.m. Dec. 7 at the First United Methodist Church. The club will go caroling and have a $5 gift exchange and pizza party.
