Lawrence-Douglas County Fire & Medical personnel attend to a transient who either fell or jumped from the top of Municipal Stadium near Hobbs Park, 10th and Delaware streets. An officer patrolling the park Monday saw the man drop from the stadium's bleachers, nearly 30 feet high, to the concrete below. The man suffered head and ankle injuries and was taken to a Kansas City-area hospital by helicopter ambulance, police said. His condition was unknown Monday night.
