Charlene M. Zumbrun

Mrs. Zumbrun died Friday, Nov. 14, 2003, at her home.

She was born June 20, 1957, in Burlington, the daughter of Charles Jr. and Mary Ilene (Butts) Freeman. She attended schools in Iola and Newton, and Stafford, Conn.

Mrs. Zumbrun was a homemaker, and worked for Ferguson Production Inc., of McPherson, as a line operator. She previously had worked for 20 years for VanGuard Plastics in McPherson in the warehouse and as inventory control manager.

She married Roger Zumbrun in McPherson. He survives of the home.

Other survivors include three sons, Jacob Zumbrun, of the home, Chris Gabel and Ron Gabel, both of McPherson; two daughters, Cassie Johnson and Kelly Finley, both of McPherson; her father, Lawrence; her mother, Mary Ilene Ayling, Lawrence; a brother, Charles Freeman, Eudora; three sisters, Cathy Blevins and Tresa Freeman, both of Lawrence, and Mary Khalaf, Wichita; and 10 grandchildren.

Friends may call from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Glidden-Ediger Chapel, McPherson, where the family will greet friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday.

The family suggests memorials to the American Lung Assn., American Heart Assn. or Calvary Baptist Church, sent in care of the funeral home, 222 W. Euclid St., McPherson 67460.
