KU Baseball Clinics: Kansas University’s baseball staff is offering skills camps for youths ages 7-18 during the Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays. Sessions will be in Anschutz Pavilion. For information, call 864-7907.
- Huckfeldt Low: Ron Huckfeldt shot a 74 and won last Sunday’s Jayhawk Golf Club tournament at Alvamar. Kirk Schneider was runner-up with a 78. Van Reichert was third at 80. In net scoring, Bob Kocour was low at 71, followed by Tom Dennis 72 and Dean Hilker 73.

U-12 Boys Champs: Lawrence U-12 White Premier boys soccer won five games by shutout last weekend to capture the Heritage Invitational in Olathe. Tor Fornelli’s penalty kick won a sudden-death shootout in the championship contest.

Golden Oldies Golf: Deadline is Friday for entering next Wednesday’s Golden Oldies Golf Tournament at Eagle Bend Golf Course. Entrants must be at least 60 years old. Flights will be determined by age groups. For information, call Lynn Goodell at 749-4538.

Hensler Hole-in-One: Paul Hensler of Lawrence used a sand wedge Tuesday to ace the 95-yard No. 8 hole at the Orchards Golf Course. It was Hensler’s 70th birthday. Witnesses were Bob Cawley, Chet Thomas and Ray Wingbach.
