Mabel Grace Freeman
OZARK, ARK. ? Services for Mabel Grace Freeman, 88, De Soto, Kan., will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Shaffer Funeral Home in Ozark. Burial will be in Oak Ridge Cemetery in Ozark.
Mrs. Freeman died Wednesday, Nov. 12, 2003, at Hillside Village Nursing Center in De Soto.
She was born March 1, 1915, in Ozark, the daughter of James William and Victoria (Plymale) Davis. She graduated from Ozark High School. She moved to De Soto in 1952.
Mrs. Freeman was a homemaker and worked for Intercollegiate Press in Shawnee, Kan. She was a member of Pentecostal Church in Ozark.
She married Pharmon M. Freeman on Dec. 18, 1932, in Ozark. He died May 6, 1989.
Survivors include Sara Ritter and Randy Rodgers, both of De Soto, whom she raised; a brother, Warren Davis, Lawrence, Kan.; three sisters, Jean Epperson, Quita Tinkersley, both of De Soto, and Thelma Cowan, Ozark; and three grandchildren.
Family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at Bruce Funeral Home in Gardner, Kan., and from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday at Shaffer Funeral Home in Ozark.
