The bride is the daughter of Dan and Cindy Britt, Manchester. The groom is the son of Gary and Barbara Hoppe, St. Joseph, Mo.

Matron of honor was Kandi Weeks. Bridesmaid was Sonya Britt. Best man was Matt Minnich. Groomsman was Brad Norris. Flower girl was Brynnan Norris. Ring bearer was Aidan Weeks. Musician and cantor was Joshua Britt. Readers were Theresa Loethen and Tonya Foster-Bell. Ushers were Daniel Carlisle, Scott Smiley and Shawn Weeks. Guest book attendants were Gaye Benfer and Melinda Taddiken.

A reception was given at Alvamar Country Club in Lawrence. The couple took a honeymoon trip to Maui, Hawaii.

The bride is a graduate of Chapman High School. She received a bachelor’s degree in journalism and mass communications from Kansas State University. She is a copy editor at the Lawrence Journal-World.

The groom is a graduate of Central High School, St. Joseph, Mo. He received a bachelor’s degree in construction science from Kansas State University. He is an assistant project manager for Universal Construction in Olathe.

The couple reside in Lawrence.

Heather Leigh Pearson and Ryan Joseph Schulze, both of Lawrence, were married Aug. 9, 2003, at Plymouth Congregational Church with the Rev. Lew Hinshaw officiating.

The bride is the daughter of Dan and Donna Pearson, Lawrence. The groom is the son of Don and Susan Schulze, Dakota Dunes, S.D.

Maid of honor was Abbie Graham. Best man was Jon Fewins. Bridesmaids were Lisa Wilkinson, Tegan Sampson, Lindsay Grissom and Lara Schulze. Groomsmen were Justin Grissom, Chris Beshears and Kelly Dreyer.

Guest book attendant was Jenna Schmidt. Vocalists were Lisa Wilkinson and Dylan Hilpman. Scripture readers were Janene Eisenhart and Chris Beshears. Cake attendants were Danette Sampson and Darla Tobin.

A reception was given in the Kansas Union Ballroom at Kansas University. The couple took a honeymoon trip to Jamaica.

The bride is a 1999 graduate of Free State High School and a 2003 graduate of Kansas University. She is studying physical therapy at KU Medical Center.

The groom is a 1998 graduate of Rochester High School, Rochester Hills, Mich., and a 2003 graduate of KU. He is pursuing a doctorate in microbiology at the Med Center.

The couple reside in Lenexa.

Staci Donovan and Brian Sheern, both of Lawrence, were married Aug. 30, 2003, at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Wichita with the Rev. Daryl Befort officiating.

The bride is the daughter of Tim and Tina Donovan, Wichita. The groom is the son of Doug and Cindy Sheern, Abilene.

Maid of honor was Lisa Donovan. Best man was David Sheern. Bridesmaids were Kara Donovan, Charese Donovan and Breanna Donovan. Groomsmen were Aaron Sheern, Casey Biggs and Sam White.

A reception was given at Rolling Hills Country Club in Wichita.

The bride is a graduate of Bishop Carroll High School, Wichita. She received a bachelor’s degree and master’s degree in business from Kansas University. She is employed as distribution planner at Payless ShoeSource.

The groom is an Abilene High School graduate. He received a bachelor’s degree in communications from Kansas University. He plans to graduate in December from KU’s school of law.

The couple reside in Lawrence.

The bride is the daughter of Noble and Ava Lathrom, Lawrence. The groom is the son of Albert and Cheryl Knisely, Warrensburg, Mo.

The bride is a 1994 graduate of Lawrence High School. She sells employee benefits at Power Group.

The groom is a 1996 graduate of Warrensburg High School. He is employed at Clarkson Construction.
